What is Pyatigorsk International
Model UN?
Pyatigorsk UN Model is an exciting role-play game and a conference, where high school students gather for five days simulating well-organized work of the UN organs. The participants of Model United Nations include delegates, chairs, observers and experts. They assume the role of official representatives of the UN members and international organizations, who have gathered at this conference to discuss issues on the agenda of the respective committees. At MUN delegates prescient from their position and must defend the official position of the country they represent. It takes great analytical effort and the diachronically world context analysis. The final goal of each committee is to adopt a resolution on the agenda.
